If you visit us in the coming year, we hope you’ll appreciate the changes we’ve been making over the last six months or so. The biggest update you’ll notice is the new seating area on the south terrace at Monnington House. The new furniture is perfect for lounging on sunny days (with parasols for shade), enjoying an early evening drink after a busy day of activities, or for wrapping up in a cosy throw and sitting out after dinner to look at the stars. Herefordshire’s big skies and low levels of light pollution offer the perfect opportunity for stargazing without having to leave home. 💫
We’ve also been adding some touches to our interiors to give that feeling of a home-away-from home. Amongst other things, you’ll spot plants, wall decorations and new soft furnishings throughout Monnington House, Garden Cottage and The Cider Mill, so however you choose to spend your time here, there’s a cosy retreat waiting for you at the end of the day. 🏡
In 2024 we were particularly delighted to welcome a large number of guests for really special celebratory weekends! Being able to sleep 24 makes our properties the perfect place for a significant birthday or anniversary party with guests of all ages. There’s plenty of room to spread out indoors and outside, and with caterers available to book who can provide an exceptional lunch or dinner, a stay at Monnington will be one to remember. 🍾
