It’s been a fun and busy summer here in Monnington On Wye so far! Our guests have been enjoying all kinds of local activities, as well as recharging their batteries from the comfort of our secluded gardens and terraces. However, it’s the time of year when our thoughts start to turn to Christmas and the new year, and we are here to let you know about our limited-time earlybird offer for stays taken in January and February 2025.

We are the perfect choice for a winter break for up to 24 people and 4 dogs. Celebrate a milestone birthday or anniversary, bring a walking group, or some golf buddies. With underfloor heating, an Aga, wood-burning stoves and snuggly blankets, you can get active during the day and come home and cosy up in the evenings. Or simply take a wintery walk along the river Wye, find a quiet spot indoors and curl up with a book, or warm up by challenging others to a game of table football, pool, table tennis or Monopoly.
Book our properties according to your numbers; Monnington House sleeps 12, Garden Cottage sleeps 6 (or combine with Monnington House to sleep 18), and The Cider Mill sleeps 6, all on one level.
Whether you book The Cider Mill for a small group, or take all three properties for a larger crowd, you will find bedrooms each with an ensuite or accompanying bathroom, space to gather together or spread out inside or outside, and kitchens with all the equipment you could need. The dining area in Monnington House can seat 24, and although we can provide caterers, with Oakchurch Farm Shop and its butchery, deli, and local fruit and veg only just over a mile away, you’ll always have provisions for self-catering.
